Greater London Community of Practice April Conference next week – still time to book your free place

The Restraint Reduction Network is a proud member of the Greater London Learning Disability and Autism Community of Practice.

Next week, the Greater London Community of Practice is holding an in-person event in London – in association with Bild – exploring ‘Learning from COVID-19: What positives can we take away from the pandemic?’.

The free event will take place on 29th April 2022, from 09:00 – 16:30 at the Arlington Conference Centre.

Learning disability and autism professionals, social care workers, and people with lived experience in the Greater London area are all invited to join.

A variety of speakers, including Gary Bourlet (Learning Disability England) and Venessa Bobb (A2ndvoice), will cover key topics during the day spanning:

  • Nationally led responses during COVID-19
  • Impact of COVID-19 on the lives of people with learning disabilities and autistic people
  • Autism, ethnic minorities and COVID-19
  • The future of the Community of Practice.

The Greater London Learning Disability and Autism Community of Practice has been set up to support the learning disability and autism community to provide information and opportunities to connect and share best practice.
