Have your say! Mental Health Workforce Plan consultation for health and social care in Wales

Health Education and Improvement Wales is consulting on the key actions which will form the foundations of the multi-professional mental health workforce plan for health and social care in Wales.

The plan is being developed in response to the actions outlined in Together for Mental Health and will include all parts of the workforce who play a role in relation to mental health services. This will include the wider, generalist workforce through to the specialist mental health workforce, to ensure a holistic approach is created.

Health Education and Improvement Wales would value your input. They also want to hear from people with lived experience of mental health difficulties.

The consultation period is open until 28^th March 2022.

You can contribute your views via the online form here or email answers to heiw.mentalhealth@wales.nhs.uk.

The form contains 30 questions and shouldn’t take any longer than 15 minutes to complete. You do not have to give your name or any information that would identify you when completing the e-form.

Several 90-minute workshops are being held during the consultation period, which you can attend by registering here.
