Take a stand

As a service user, or friend or family member of a service user, you have the right to know what to expect of services who have been certified as organisations complying by the Restraint Reduction Network Training Standards. This way you know what to look for and hold people to account.

Currently, the Training Standards are not mandatory in any service. From April 2020 however, all NHS commissioned services must comply by these Standards.

Here at the Restraint Reduction Network, we want to see all organisations and services across health, social care and education complying by these Standards and held to account by regulators to ensure they are putting the Standards into practice.
