Are you an experienced leader who could work in partnership with our Chief Executive to lead the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN)? We are a leading charity championing a restraint reduction movement to prevent the unnecessary use of restrictive practices.
Do you have a good understanding of education, health and social care sectors and experience of working directly with people with learning disabilities, autistic people and individuals with dementia or mental health conditions?
We’re seeking a new chair of our board of trustees who can lead trustee meetings that take place every three months and will help us champion our work as a leading restraint reduction movement.
As the Chair of trustees, you will share leadership of our organisation with our Chief Executive, and have the strategic vision to effect change and engage our trustees in setting strategic objectives.
You will ensure RRN has an appropriate governance structure that enables delegation of authority to sub-committees and work with the Chief Executive to ensure the governance and management framework actively engages Trustees in carrying out their legal, financial and regulatory requirements. We’re also looking for someone who can represent RRN at public events and exemplify our vision and values.
