The HOPE(S) model is a successful human rights-based approach to working with individuals in segregation developed from research and clinical practice. It reduces the use of Long Term Segregation (LTS – also referred to as solitary confinement) sometimes experienced by autistic adults, adults with a learning disability, and children and young people.

The qualification supports practitioners to work collaboratively and lead proactively with frontline clinicians, individuals, and families.
