RRN Cultural Restraint resources

These new, coproduced resources from the RRN introduce cultural restraint, first conceptualised by Alexis Quinn.
The resources aim to explain what cultural restraint is, how it shows up, its impact, and to offer practical steps to create safer, more healing spaces.
The resources can be used by people in services, families, support workers, nurses, psychologists and psychiatrists and anyone else who would like to understand more about cultural restraint.
The RRN would like to thank the people with lived experience, staff working in mental health settings and the Centre for Mental Health for their valuable contributions to this new work.
