An exciting update to our practice-Based Diploma qualifications

The Restraint Reduction Network is pleased to share an update to our Diploma qualifications, designed to strengthen the expertise we offer learners and provide greater choice in how practitioners develop the practical skills they need for their roles.

From today, our partner organisation, Bild, offers 5 Bild Diploma BTEC Level 5 qualifications in Practice Leadership. The diplomas allow practitioners to specialise in a pathway that reflects their role and setting, while all routes share a strong foundation in Practice Leadership.

The Restraint Reduction Network is delighted to partner with Bild on two specialist pathways:

  • Bild Diploma in Practice Leadership in Reducing Restrictive Practices
  • Bild Diploma in Practice Leadership in the HOPEs Model of Care to Reduce LTS

Developed and delivered in partnership, learners on the diplomas will benefit from the RRN’s unique depth of experience and specialist expertise in reducing restrictive practices

This new structure enables clear recognition of prior learning. Learners who already hold a Bild Diploma can “top up” their qualification by completing two additional specialist units to achieve a second Diploma in another pathway. This model offers learners high-quality, practice-based learning that supports skilled, values-led leadership across health, social care, and education.
